The light triad test, free. 13 questions on humanism, Kantianism and faith in humanity reveal your light triad score — and which of the three traits is your strongest.
The light triad is the answer to the dark triad — the well-known cluster of personality traits (narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy). Researchers Scott Barry Kaufman and his collaborators proposed in 2019 that there’s a corresponding bright cluster: Kantianism (treating people as ends in themselves, not means), humanism (valuing human dignity and worth), and faith in humanity (believing people are fundamentally good).
This quiz takes 13 plain-language questions about how you actually treat people, what you believe about them, and where you put your trust. The result places you in one of five archetypes — from “Pure Light” through to “Mostly Dark Side.” Yes, the dark side counts here too. Real people are mixed.
You’ll learn three things at once: your overall light triad score, which of the three traits is your strongest, and the honest read on whether your behaviour matches your self-image.
Thirteen short questions about how you treat strangers, how you read people, what you believe about human nature, and how you behave when no one’s watching. Pick the answer that’s actually true. Your highest-scoring archetype wins.
